What’s Covered in your donation:
We do a day long career guidance event at a school or junior college. This would consist of 2 two-hour sessions of up to 50 students each (total 100 students). In these sessions we will introduce the idea of careers to students, tell them about new careers, connect careers to the correct college degree and guide them towards career success. We use surveys, interaction, movies and slideshows to keep students engaged. There will be a giveaway to the student containing key information for their future. An interaction with the teachers can also be arranged.
After the session:
- All students are encouraged to call us back any time for one-on-one phone counselling
- At the end of the academic year we will call all the students for a 1-1 guidance session
- We do online career sessions on particular topics every month and students will have a chance to join those. We also post useful information on social media and WhatsApp which they can follow
- We connect interested students to professionals from different careers.
Schools and colleges are opening up now and we are in a position to start doing our in-classroom sessions.
You can participate in the session yourself in-person, or through a video call-in and share your thoughts.
Donations to Bhavishyath are tax-deductible in India under section 80(G). Please provide your PAN number for our records when you donate.
